Ingredients
Pear, prosciutto and apple balsamic pizzettas
- 4 store-bought individual pizza bases
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 large pear, cored, thinly sliced
- 125 gram bocconcini cheese, halved
- 4 slices prosciutto
- 1/4 cup apple juice
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- baby rocket leaves, to serve
Method
Pear, prosciutto and apple balsamic pizzettas

1Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan-forced). Line an oven tray with baking paper.

2Place pizza bases on tray and brush with oil. Top with pear slices and brush with oil.

3Scatter cheese and prosciutto over each base. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden and crisp.

4Meanwhile, combine juice and vinegar in a small frying pan. Cook on medium, stirring, for 5-6 minutes, or until syrupy. Allow to cool.

5Top pizzas with baby rocket leaves and drizzle with syrup. Serve.
Notes
MAKES 4 Cut out some mini pizzas from prepared bases and serve as hot canapes with apple, walnut, blue cheese and honey.
