Ingredients
Apple charlotte tartlets
- 2 green apples (300g), peeled, cored
- 1 tablespoon caster (superfine) sugar
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 24 x 4.5cm diameter baked pastry cases
- 1/2 cup (125ml) thickened (heavy) cream, whipped
- 2 tablespoon passionfruit pulp
Method
Apple charlotte tartlets

1Thinly slice apples; combine in small saucepan with sugar, the water, clove and cinnamon; cover. Bring to the boil; reduce heat, simmer, covered, about 5 minutes or until apple softens.

2Drain apple mixture; discard liquid and clove. Cool apple.

3Place pastry cases on tray, fill with cold stewed apple; refrigerate 30 minutes.

4Just before serving, top with cream, then drizzle with passionfruit pulp.
