Ingredients
Aussie burgers
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 500 gram beef mince
- 1/4 cup parsley, finely chopped
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 2 tablespoon tomato sauce, plus extra, to serve
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 4 damper rolls, halved, toasted
- mixed green salad leaves, sliced roma tomatoes, beetroot slices, cheese slices, tomato chutney, to serve
Method
Aussie burgers

1Preheat a barbecue plate or frying pan on high.

2Heat 1 teaspoon olive oil in a frying pan on medium; saute onion 3 minutes, until tender. Combine onion with mince, parsley, egg, tomato sauce and worcestershire sauce in a bowl; season and mix well.

3Make 4 large, flat patties. Brush barbecue with remaining oil; cook 3-4 minutes each side, until cooked through.

4Assemble burgers on bread rolls with salad ingredients, cheese, chutney and extra sauce. Serve.
