Barbecued chicken tacos

Mexican chicken tacos get the party started and are easy finger food. Create your own or just use bought guacomole. Simple!

Ingredients

Barbecued chicken tacos
  • 295 gram taco kit
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded barbecued chicken
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 3/4 cup grated tasty cheese
  • sour cream and guacamole

Method

Barbecued chicken tacos

    Preheat oven to 180°C. Heat taco shells for 5 minutes following packet instructions.

    Fill each shell with an equal amount of shredded lettuce, barbecued chicken, taco sauce (from kit), chopped tomato, grated tasty cheese and finish with sour cream and guacamole. Serve immediately.

Notes

Buy prepared guacomole or simply mash a ripe avocado with a little lemon juice and a dash of chilli sauce.
