Ingredients
- 185 gram unsalted butter, chopped coarsely
- 300 gram NESTLÉ BAKERS’ CHOICE Cooking Chocolate
- 1/4 cup (25g) NESTLÉ BAKERS’ CHOICE Cocoa
- 1 cup (220g) firmly packed light brown sugar
- 3/4 cup (165g) caster (superfine) sugar
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 eggs
- 1.5 cup (225g) plain (all-purpose) flour
- 2 teaspoon NESTLÉ BAKERS’ CHOICE Cocoa, extra
Method

1Preheat oven to 170°C/340°F. Grease 20cm x 30cm approx. rectangular pan; line base and long sides with baking paper, extending paper 5cm (2 inches) over sides.

2Stir butter and NESTLÉ BAKERS’ CHOICE Cooking Chocolate in medium saucepan over low heat until smooth. Remove from heat; whisk in sifted NESTLÉ BAKERS’ CHOICE Cocoa, sugars and extract until smooth.

3Stir eggs and sifted flour into chocolate mixture. Pour mixture into pan; spread evenly.

4Bake about 40 minutes. Cool brownie in pan. Dust with extra sifted NESTLÉ BAKERS’ CHOICE Cocoa before cutting.
Notes
- This recipe used a 19cm x 33cm (8-inch x 12-inch) pan - The mixture should be barely warm when the eggs and flour are added. Use a bamboo skewer to test if the brownie is cooked, the skewer should feel moist, if you want a fudgy brownie; if not, bake the brownie another 5 minutes or so. - Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. They are best served at room temperature.
