Bocconcini and prosciutto bites

Ingredients
Bocconcini and prosciutto bites
- 12片火腿
- 12 bocconcini balls
- 12 basil or sage leaves
- 12 toothpicks
- 1 tablespoon olive oil, plus extra, to serve
- balsamic vinegar, to serve
Method
Bocconcini and prosciutto bites

1Place prosciutto slices on a flat surface. Position 1 bocconcini ball at end of each prosciutto slice. Season with pepper. Top with a basil leaf. Roll up to encase filling and secure with a toothpick.

2Heat oil in a frying pan on medium. Sear parcels, turning, for 1 minute, until outsides are well coloured.

3Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar, if desired, and serve warm.
Notes
These may be served without being fried.
