Capsicum and salami pasta

Ingredients

Capsicum and salami pasta
  • 100 gram salami
  • 400 gram large spiral pasta
  • 500 gram jar pasta sauce
  • 3/4 cup sliced char-grilled capsicum
  • 1/4 cup black olives
  • 1/4 cup torn basil or parsley

Method

Capsicum and salami pasta

    Heat a large frying pan on medium. Cook salami, 1-2 minutes, until crisp. Drain on paper towel then break into pieces. Set aside.

    Cook pasta in a large saucepan of boiling, salted water, following packet instructions. Drain pasta and return to saucepan.

    Meanwhile, combine pasta sauce, capsicum and olives in same frying pan on medium. Cook, 2-3 minutes, until heated through.

    Add pasta to sauce with basil. Toss to combine and season to taste. Serve topped with salami.
