Ingredients
Caramelised onion & prosciutto
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 30 gram butter
- 2 (400g) large onions, finely sliced
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
- 2 prosciutto slices
- 2 fresh bread roll patties, split in half
- 25 gram feta, crumbled, to garnish
Method
Caramelised onion & prosciutto

1In a large frying pan, heat oil and butter on medium heat; saute onion for about 10-15 minutes, or until onions are soft and slightly golden. Stir in sugar and vinegar. Set aside.

2In a heated, non-stick frying pan, fry prosciutto for about 1-2 minutes each side, or until crisp; remove from pan. Break up into pieces.

3Top bread with onion, prosciutto and feta before serving.
