Ingredients
Everlasting orange slices
- 12 (2kg) oranges
- 10杯(2.5升)的水
- 8 cup (1.75kg) caster sugar
- 3/4 cup (180ml) orange-flavoured liqueur
Method

1Bring a very large saucepan of salted water to the boil and add whole oranges. Return to the boil. Drain, and rinse under cold water. Repeat twice more. Cut oranges into 5mm-thick slices and remove seeds.

2Combine water and sugar in same pan. Stir over heat until sugar is dissolved; do not boil. Add orange slices; simmer about 2 hours or until orange slices are soft and very shiny. Stir in liqueur. Gently spoon slices into hot sterilised jars and seal while hot.
