Grilled peaches with cream and honey
- 6 freestone peaches, halved, stones removed
- 25 gram butter, at room temperature
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup cream, whipped
- 2 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoon crushed amaretti biscuits
Method
Grilled peaches with cream and honey

1Heat an oven-grill to moderately high. Place peaches, cut-slcie up, on a shallow baking tray.

2Place butter, sugar and cinnamon in a bowl; stir to combine. Spread mixture over peaches. Grill peaches for 5 minutes or until caramelised.

3Arrange peach halves in shallow serving bowls. Top with cream. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with amaretti biscuits. Serve.
Notes
Use canned drained peach halves when fresh peaches aren't available. Cooking time will vary. Low-fat Use low-fat yogurt instead of cream. DIY idea Swap peaches for nectarines or plums. Freestone peaches have stones that are easy to remove. You'll find amaretti biscuits in the biscuits aisle.
