Lamb & paprika meatballs

These delicious meatballs are great to freeze – serve with your favourite salad.

Ingredients

  • 500 gram lamb mince
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon rind
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • saltand pepper
  • 2.5 tablespoon olive oil

Method

Lamb & paprika meatballs
  • 1
    Place mince in a bowl and combine with cumin, coriander, garlic, paprika, oregano, lemon rind and juice. Season with salt and pepper.

    Roll mixture into small walnut-size balls.

    Heat oil in a large frying pan and cook meatballs in batches until golden and cooked through. Drain on kitchen paper and serve.
