Papaya and wheatgerm smoothie
  • 1/2 ripe red papaya
  • 2 tablespoon stabilised wheatgerm
  • 1 cup (250ml) non-fat milk
  • 1/3 cup (95g) low-fat greek yoghurt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon manuka honey
  • handful ice cubes
  • lime wedge, to serve

Method

Papaya and wheatgerm smoothie

    Remove the seeds of the papaya with a large spoon. Scoop out the flesh and place into a blender: discard the skin
  • 2
    Place the remaining ingredients into the blender with the papaya and process until smooth.

    Pour into glasses and serve with a lime wedge.
