Penne with meatballs

Ingredients
- 70 millilitre bottle tomato pasta sauce
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup char-grilled mixed vegetables, drained, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon dried mixed herbs
- 450 gram frozen meatballs (store bought or home-made)
- 400 gram penne pasta
- 1/4 cup roughly chopped parsley
- 1/4 cup shaved parmesan
- garlic bread
Method

1In a large frying pan, combine pasta sauce with wine, water, char-grilled vegetables and mixed herbs. Bring to a simmer on a medium heat. Season to taste.

2Stir in meatballs. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

3Meanwhile, cook pasta in a large saucepan of boiling salted water following packet instructions. Drain well and place in a large serving bowl.

4Toss pasta through sauce with parsley. Serve topped with parmesan, and accompany with garlic bread, if you like.
