Ingredients

Pizza capricciosa
  • 2/3 cup (170g) classic italian cooking sauce
  • 2 large pizza bases
  • 100 gram mushrooms, sliced
  • 150 gram sliced ham, cut into strips
  • 2 spring (salad) onions, white bulbs trimmed, cut into thin wedges
  • 1 1/3 cup (135g) grated mozzarella
  • salad, to serve (optional)

Method

    Preheat oven to very hot, 220°C (200°C fan-forced).

    Spread sauce over pizza bases. Top with mushrooms, ham, onion and mozzarella; season to taste.

    Cook 15 minutes, until cheese is golden and base is crisp.

    Cut pizza into wedges and serve with salad, if you like.
