Pomegranate caprioska

- 60 millilitre vodka

- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1 tablespoon pomegranate pulp
Method
Pomegranate caprioska
-
1Using muddler, crush two of the lime wedges in cocktail shaker with vodka, syrup and juice. Add ice cubes; shake vigorously.
-
2Strain into ice-filled 260ml old-fashioned glass; stir in pomegranate pulp. Garnish with remaining sliced lime wedges.
Notes
You can buy sugar syrup from liquor stores or make your own. Stir 1 cup (220g) caster (superfine) sugar with 1 cup (250ml) water in small saucepan, over low heat, until sugar dissolves. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, without stirring, 5 minutes. Remove from heat; cool to room temperature. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 month.
