Pork balls with soy and lime dipping sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 2.5 centimetre piece fresh ginger, grated
- 1 green onion, sliced thinly
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon japanese soy sauce
- 1 fresh small red thai, chilli, sliced thinly
- 500 gram minced pork
- vegetable oil, for shallow-frying
- 1 tablespoon japanese soy sauce
- 2 teaspoon mirin
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon finely grated lime rind
- 1 1/2 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 green onion, chopped finely
- 1 fresh small red chilli, sliced thinly
Method
Pork balls with soy and lime dipping sauce

1Combine seeds, garlic, ginger, onion, oil, sauce, chilli and pork in medium bowl. Roll tablespoons of mixture into balls; place on tray, refrigerate 30 minutes.

2Make soy and lime dipping sauce. Place ingredients in small bowl and stir to combine.

3Heat oil in large frying pan; cook balls until cooked through, drain on absorbent paper.

4Serve balls with dipping sauce.
