Ingredients
Potato and goat cheese puffs
- 600 gram potatoes, chopped coarsely
- 50克的屁股er
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 3 bacon rashers (210g), rind removed, chopped finely
- 1/2 cup (75g) self-raising flour
- 1 egg, beaten lightly
- 2 green onions, chopped finely
- 100 gram firm goat cheese, crumbled
- vegetable oil, for deep-frying
Method
Potato and goat cheese puffs

1Boil, steam or microwave potato until tender; drain. Mash potato in medium bowl with butter and garlic until smooth; cool 10 minutes.

2Meanwhile, cook bacon in small non-stick frying pan until crisp; drain on absorbent paper. Add bacon to potato mixture with flour, egg, onion and cheese; stir until combined.

3Heat oil in wok. Roll level tablespoons of the potato mixture into balls; deep-fry balls, in batches, until browned lightly. Drain on absorbent paper.
