  • 1/4 cup (55g) caster sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup (125ml) water
  • 2 cup (500m|) vodka
  • 2 tablespoon cranberry juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon rosewater
  • ice cubes
  • fresh rose petals, to serve

Method

    Combine sugar and water in a saucepan and heat until dissolved. Remove from heat and cool.

    Place the sugar syrup, vodka, cranberry juice and rosewater into a cocktail shaker with plenty of ice and shake well to combine.

    To serve, strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with rose petals.
