Ingredients
Spiced apple strudel
- 400 gram pie apple
- 1/4 cup sultanas
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon, plus extra, to sprinkle
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom, plus extra, to sprinkle
- 1 1/2 tablespoon honey
- 6 sheets filo pastry
- cooking oil spray
- 1 teaspoon icing sugar
- 200 gram greek-style natural yogurt
Method
Spiced apple strudel

1Preheat oven to 190°C/170°C fan forced. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Combine apple, sultanas, cinnamon, cardamom and honey in a bowl.

2Stack pastry on a clean work surface, lightly spraying between sheets with cooking oil spray. Spray top sheet with oil.

3Spoon apple mixture along the longest edge edge, leaving a 5cm border. Fold in sides; roll up tightly to enclose filling.

4Place, seam-side down, on prepared tray. Spray lightly with oil. Bake for 2O minutes or until golden and crisp. Dust with icing sugar. Sprinkle yogurt with extra cinnamon and extra cardamom. Serve strudel warm, with yogurt
