Ingredients

Sticky lamb and mushrooms with mash
  • 1 kilogram brushed potatoes, peeled, cut into chunks
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 650 gram mid-loin lamb chops, trimmed
  • 200 gram cup mushrooms, quartered
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon wholegrain mustard
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup hot milk
  • salad leaves, to serve

Method

    煮一锅沸腾的土豆,咸窟er 15-20 minutes, until tender.

    Heat oil in a large frying pan on medium. Fry chops 1-2 minutes each side. Transfer to a plate.

    In same pan, saute mushroom and onion 3-4 minutes, until tender.

    In a small jug, combine vinegar, mustard and sugar. Increase heat and add to mushroom mixture, stirring. Return chops to pan and cook 3-4 minutes.

    Drain potatoes. Mash well. Gradually add milk, stirring to a smooth consistency Season to taste

    Serve chops on a bed of mashed potato with mushroom sauce. Accompany with salad leaves.
