Thai beef salad
Healthy eating is easy with this Asian-inspired beef salad that�s bursting with fresh Thai flavours. Seared and marinated beef is served on a bed of crisp lettuce and cucumber.

Ingredients
Thai beef salad
- 4 scotch fillet steaks (about 125-150g each)
- cooking oil spray
- 2 lebanese cucumbers, sliced
- 250 gram cherry tomatoes, halved
- 100 gram mixed salad leaves
- 1 cup mint leaves
- 1 cup coriander leaves
- 1/2 cup basil leaves
- 8 green onions, sliced
Sweet chilli lime dressing
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 2 tablespoon kecap manis
- 2 tablespoon sweet chilli sauce
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1/4 teaspoon chopped chilli
Method
Thai beef salad

1Lightly grease a char-grill pan or barbecue plate with spray oil. Heat on high.

2Cook steak 3-5 minutes each side, or until cooked to your liking. Transfer to a plate. Cover with foil; rest 5 minutes.

3Meanwhile, toss all salad ingredients together in a bowl. Slice steak across the grain.

4To make sweet chilli lime dressing, whisk together all ingredients; season to taste.

5Toss dressing through salad mixture with beef. Serve.
