Tipsy ham glaze
Glazing a ham is a Christmas rite of passage for the home cook. You can’t beat the look of a nice ham all dressed up in cherries or pineapple. It makes you look like a whiz in the kitchen and it’s dead easy.

Ingredients
Tipsy ham glaze
- 1/3 cup dark rum
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 3 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon wholegrain mustard
Method
Tipsy ham glaze

1Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan and heat until the sugar has dissolved

2Simmer for 5 minutes then set aside until needed. The glaze can be made in advance and kept in the fridge for several days.
