Ingredients
Tomato bread
- 12 slices ciabatta bread
- 1/4 cup (60ml) olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/4 cup (60ml) tomato puree
- 12 thin slices prosciutto
- basil leaves (optional), to garnish
- salt and pepper, to season
Method
Tomato bread

1Preheat oven to 180°C. Line an oven tray with baking paper.

2Arrange bread on baking tray. Brush with combined olive oil and garlic. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

3Bake for 5-10 minutes, until golden. Lightly brush bread slices with tomato puree while hot. Top each with a slice of prosciutto and garnish with a basil leaf, if desired. Season to taste, then serve.
