Tortellini with ham

Ingredients
Tortellini with ham
- 375 gram fresh ham and cheese tortellini
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 20 gram butter
- 200 gram shaved ham, thinly sliced
- 2 clove garlic, crushed
- 1/2 cup thickened cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley (optional)
Method
Tortellini with ham

1Bring a large saucepan of salted water to the boil. Cook pasta 8-10 minutes, or until cooked. Drain well.

2Heat oil and butter together in a frying pan on high. Saute ham and garlic 2-3 minutes, until ham begins to crisp.

3Toss through tortellini, cream, parmesan, parsley; season to taste. Cook, stirring, 1-2 minutes. Serve.
Notes
Bacon, salami or prosciutto maybe used in place of ham. To reduce fat content, use light ham and low-fat cream to reduce fat content.
