Ingredients

Traditional lemonade
  • 2 cup (440g) white sugar
  • 2 litre water
  • 2 lemons, zested
  • 2 cup (500ml) lemon juice

Method

Traditional lemonade

    把苏gar, water and lemon zest into a saucepan and bring to the boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Reduce the heat and allow the syrup to simmer for 5 minutes

    Transfer the mixture to a jug and refrigerate until chilled, then stir through the lemon juice.

    Serve in a tall glass with lots of ice.
