Ingredients

Warm orange and cinnamon wine
  • 750 millilitre red wine
  • 1 orange rind, cut into wide strips
  • 2 cup (500ml) freshly squeezed orange juice 2 sticks cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup (110g) raw sugar

Method

Warm orange and cinnamon wine

    Heat all ingredients in a saucepan on low, stirring until sugar dissolves. Gently simmer on very low heat for 10 minutes, without letting it boil, to infuse flavours thoroughly.

    Ladle into heatproof glasses and serve immediately.
