Dip these fritters into a tangy yoghurt sauce for a tasty shared plate or light lunch.

Ingredients
西葫芦and sausage fritters
- 2 cup self-raising flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 cooked, thinly sliced thin sausages
- 1 grated zucchini
- 1 cup grated tasty cheese
- 3 green onions, finely sliced
- 1 3/4 cup milk
- 60 gram melted butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- salad leaves, to serve
Spiced yoghurt
- 1 cup natural yogurt
- 1 grated zest, 1 tablespoon juice lemon
- 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
Method

1Sift flour and baking powder together into a large bowl. Add sausage, zucchini, cheese and green onions. Gradually stir in combined milk, butter and egg. Season to taste.

2Heat oil in a large frying pan on medium. Working in batches, cook 1/4-cups of mixture 2-3 minutes, until bubbles appear on surface and underside is golden. Turn and cook another minute. Set aside, covered.

3In a small bowl, combine all spiced yoghurt ingredients. Season to taste. Serve with fritters, yoghurt and salad leaves.
