Ingredients
Baked beans with chorizo sausage
- 500 gram cannellini beans
- 1 teaspoon plain flour
- 2 400g tins diced tomatoes
- 10 clove garlic, peeled
- 3 springs sage
- 1 cup (250ml) olive oil
- 3 cup (750ml) water
- sea salt and pepper
- 1 smoked ham hock
- 2 chorizo sausages
- ciabatta bread, to serve
Method

1Place the beans into a large into a large bowl with the teaspoon of flour, cover with plenty of cold water and leave to soak for 8 hours.

2Preheat oven to 180°C.

3Rinse beans well and transfer them to a casserole dish. Add the smoked ham hock and chorizo sausages, cover with a tight-fitting lid and cook in the oven for 3-4 hours or until the beans are cooked through.

4Remove the chorizo sausages, slice and return to the pot. Serve the beans hot from the pot with char-grilled ciabatta bread.
