Ingredients
Braised soya beans
- 1 cup (250 millilitres) chicken stock
- 2 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon shredded ginger
- 3 star anise
- 1 piece orange peel
- 2 420 gram cans soya beans, rinsed and drained
Method
Braised soya beans

1In a saucepan, heat chicken stock, brown sugar, oyster sauce, ginger, star anise and orange peel until boiling. Reduce heat and simmer 10-15 minutes, until reduced by half and syrupy.

2Stir in soya beans. Simmer 15 minutes. Season to taste and serve.
