Ingredients
Cauliflower au gratin
- 1 whole cauliflower, trimmed, cut into florets
- 1 quantity bechamel sauce, stage 2
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- chopped parsley, to serve
Method
Cauliflower au gratin

1Preheat oven to 180°C. Lightly grease a 5-cup casserole dish (or 4 individual dishes).

2Cook cauliflower in a saucepan of boiling salted water for 4-6 minutes, until just tender. Drain well. Place in dish. Pour bechamel sauce over, then sprinkle with combined cheese and breadcrumbs Bake for 10-15 minutes, until golden. Sprinkle with parsley.
Notes
If you prefer a cheesy bechamel sauce, add 1/4 cup grated parmesan or tasty cheese to sauce while still hot, and stir until melted.
