Ingredients
Grandma's tofu
- 2 tablespoon peanut oil
- 1/2 cup (80g) almonds, coarsely chopped
- 1 (150g) medium brown onion,chopped finely
- 500 gram pork mince
- 150 gram button mushrooms, sliced thinly
- 200 gram packaged marinated tofu pieces
- 2 tablespoon sambal oelek
- 1 tablespoon kecap manis
- 2 tablespoon tamari
- 1/4 cup (60ml) lime juice
- 4 green onions, sliced thinly, to sprinkle
Method
Grandma's tofu

1Heat half the oil in a wok over medium heat; stir-fry nuts for about 3 minutes, or until browned. Drain. Set aside.

2Heat remaining oil in wok; stir-fry onion for about 2 minutes, or until just soft. Add pork; stir-fry, in batches, for about 3 minutes or until cooked.

3Return pork and onion to wok. Add mushrooms and tofu; stir-fry for about 2 minutes or until mushrooms are just tender. Add sambal, kecap manis and tamari; stir-fry for about 1 minute, or until sauce thickens slightly. Remove from heat; serve sprinkled with nuts, juice and onion.
