Ingredients

Pork with glass noodles
  • 100 gram packet glass or bean thread vermicelli noodles
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 250 gram pork fillet, thinly sliced
  • 2 cup (160g) beansprouts, trimmed
  • 4 green onions (shallots), sliced on the diagonal
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves

Method

    Prepare noodles according to packet directions.

    Meanwhile, heat oil in a wok on high. Add garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds, without browning, until fragrant. Add pork and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, until browned.

    Add beansprouts, green onion, fish sauce and sugar and cook for 1 minute. Add drained noodles to wok and stir-fry for 3 minutes, until heated through. Scatter with coriander and serve.
