Ingredients

  • frozen puff pastry, 2 sheets, thawed
  • onion, 1, finely chopped
  • rindless bacon, 2 rashers, finely chopped
  • tasty cheese, grated, ½ cup
  • eggs, 2
  • milk, ¼ cup
  • cream, ¼ cup

Method

    Preheat oven to hot, 200°C.

    Cut pastry into rounds using a 7.5cm cutter. Line 24 shallow patty pan recesses with pastry.

    In a bowl, combine onion, bacon and cheese. Sprinkle even amounts into each pastry case.

    n a jug, whisk eggs, milk and cream together. Season to taste. Pour mixture evenly among cases.

    Bake 15-20 minutes, until filling is set and pastry is golden. Cool 5 minutes before removing from pans. Serve with salad or as finger food.
