  • 800 gram potatoes
  • 15 gram butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped
  • vegetable oil, for shallow-frying
  • 200 gram crème fraîche
  • 200 gram smoked salmon

    Coarsely grate potatoes; squeeze out as much excess liquid as possible. Combine potatoes, butter and dill in medium bowl.

    Heat oil in large frying pan. shape level tablespoons of potato mixture into patties; cook patties, in batches, until browned lightly both sides. Drain on absorbent paper.

    Divide crème fraîche and smoked salmon among rösti. Serve topped with dill sprigs, if desired.
