Ingredients

Sardine spread with garlic pide
  • 110 gram can sardines in oil, drained
  • 1/2 cup egg mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1 long red chilli, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoon finely chopped flat-leaf parsley
  • 2 tablespoon baby capers, chopped
  • 2 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
  • 3 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/4 cup rice bran oil
  • 1/2 turkish pide, cut in half horizontally
  • 2/3 cup coarsely grated tasty cheese

Method

    Roughly mash sardines and mix with mayonnaise, cream, chilli, parsley, capers, lemon zest and 1/2 clove crushed garlic.

    Preheat an oven-grill to high. Stir remaining garlic through oil to combine. Brush cut side of pide with garlic oil.

    Place pides on a tray under grill, 1-2 minutes, or until lightly toasted. Top with cheese and put back under grill, 1-2 minutes, until cheese is melted and golden brown. Cut pides crosswise into fingers. Serve with sardine spread.

Notes

沙丁鱼和酸豆是咸的,所以小心助教ste sardine spread before seasoning with salt.
