Ingredients
Sticky soy drumettes with noodles
- 1 kilogram chicken drumettes or nibbles
- 1/2 cup light soy sauce
- 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2汤匙蔬菜或花生油
- 2 medium carrots, cut into matchsticks
- 1 small red capsicum, cut into matchsticks
- 150 gram chinese cabbage (wombok), shredded
- 2 400g packets fresh singapore noodles
- 1/4 cup bought stir-fry sauce
- 4 green onions, cut into 4cm lengths
Method

1Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan-forced). Grease e large roasting pan. Place chicken in prepared pan. Whisk soy sauce and sugar in a jug. Add soy mixture to chicken; mix well. Sprinkle with half the sesame seeds. Bake, turning occasionally, for 40-45 minutes or until cooked and glazed. Remove from oven. Sprinkle chicken with remaining sesame seeds.

2Meanwhile, heat a wok or large frying pan over a high heat. Add oil; swirl to coat surface. Add carrot, capsicum and cabbage; stir-fry for 2 minutes. Add noodles and stir-fry sauce; stir-fry for 3-4 minutes or until heated. Remove from heat. Add onion; toss to combine.

3Serve noodle mixture with chicken.
Notes
Wrap a strip of foil around each drumette bone to make mini drumsticks easier to eat with fingers. Marinate drumettes in fridge overnight; they'll be flavour-packed and ready to bake the next day.
