Ingredients

Tomato, sardine and olive bruschetta
  • 2 95g cans boneless sardines
  • 4 medium tomatoes, finely diced
  • 1/2 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup (40g) pitted kalamata olives, sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped basil, plus extra leaves to serve
  • 8 slice crusty bread, such as ciabatta (see tip)
  • 2 clove garlic, peeled
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon olive oil

Method

    Toast bread on both sides until golden. Rub toast with garlic and brush with oil.
