Ingredients

Trail mix
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup popping corn
  • 1 cup pretzels, crushed
  • 2/3 cup sultanas
  • 1/4 cup pepitas seeds
  • 2 teaspoon sea salt flakes
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon mild curry powder

Method

    Heat oil in a large saucepan on medium, until a piece of corn sizzles as soon as it is added.

    Add corn to pan and cover with a tight-fitting lid. Heat until popping ceases, shaking pan occasionally. Remove from heat.

    Add remaining ingredients to warm popcorn. Cover and shake well to combine. Season to taste. Transfer to a tray to cool. Scoop into small bags and tie with ribbons to seal.
