Ingredients
Warm caramel sundaes
- 125 gram chopped butter
- 300 millilitre thickened cream
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornflour
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 cup vanilla ice-cream
- 100 gram coarsely chopped jersey caramels
Method
Warm caramel sundaes

1Stir chopped butter, thickened cream and brown sugar in a medium saucepan over low heat until butter is melted.

2Blend cornflour and water; stir into pan, bring to the boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 3 minutes or until thickened slightly.

3Divide vanilla ice-cream among four serving bowls, top with warm caramel sauce and jersey caramels.
