Ingredients
Creamy garlic and chilli prawns
- 30 gram butter
- 2 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 long red chilli, sliced
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 500 gram green prawns, peeled, deveined, tails intact
- 2 green onions, sliced, plus extra shredded
- 300 millilitre pouring cream
- steamed rice, to serve
Method
Creamy garlic and chilli prawns

1Heat oil and butter together in a large frying pan on high. When bubbling, add garlic and chilli and sauté, 1-2 minutes.

2Add curry powder and cook for 30 seconds, stirring. Add prawns and onions, stirring for 2-3 minutes until prawns begin to colour.

3Pour in cream and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, 1-2 minutes, until sauce has thickened and prawns are cooked through. Season to taste.

4Serve with rice, topped with shredded green onion.
