Grilled lemon and thyme sardines
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 6 fresh thyme sprigs, halved
  • 12 butterflied sardines, scaled
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 dried chilli, finely chopped

Method

Grilled lemon and thyme sardines

    Preheat barbecue grill or char-grill pan on high.
  • 2
    将柠檬片和百里香肉一边小枝of each sardine. Drizzle with oil, sprinkle with chilli. Season. Place in a wire grilling rack.

    Barbecue sardines, skin-side down first, 1-2 minutes each side, until cooked through. Serve straight away.
