Nasi goreng
Ready in less than 15 minutes this simple yet delicious nasi goreng consisting of rice stir-fried with prawns and topped with a fried egg makes a satisfying meal.

Ingredients
Nasi goreng
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 4 green onions, cut into 3cm lengths
- 3 cup wombok (chinese cabbage), shredded
- 40克香囊炒饭混合香料
- 3 cup cooked long grain white rice
- 350 gram cooked prawns, peeled, tails intact
- fried eggs, ready-made satay skewers, sliced red chilli, to serve
Method
Nasi goreng

1Heat oil in a large wok on high. Stir-fry onion 1 minute.

2Add cabbage to wok; stir-fry a further 1-2 minutes, until beginning to wilt. Mix in spice mix; stir-fry 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

3Add rice to wok; stir-fry 3-4 minutes, to coat and heat through. Add prawns; heat through.

4Serve in bowls topped with a fried egg, cooked satay skewers and sliced red chilli, if liked.
Notes
To fry eggs, heat a large non-stick frying pan on high. Crack 2 eggs into pan; cook, uncovered, 2 minutes, until white sets and yolk is almost set (for a soft yolk), or until cooked to your liking. Transfer to a plate; repeat with remaining eggs.
